The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardized test widely used for university admissions in the United States and other countries. Basic information about the SAT exam:
1. Format: The SAT consists of two main sections:
- Evidence-based reading and writing: Tests reading comprehension, grammar and writing skills.

2. Duration: The exam lasts about 2 hours.
3. Scoring: The SAT is scored on a 400 to 1600 point system. Both core sections (Reading/Writing and Mathematics) are graded from 200 to 800.

5. Availability: SAT exam is held 7 times a year in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
6. Changes: Starting in 2024, the SAT will switch to a digital format, the duration of the exam will be shorter (about 2 hours) and it will become adaptive, that is, the difficulty of the questions will adapt to the performance of the examinee.
